Though James Conran Design is based in New York City, we've done work in cities as far flung as Palm Beach, Florida and Malibu, California. We are ready for the challenge of perfecting your space, whether that be with a subtle and elegant wall finish, a bold statement mural, or by creating the perfect piece of furniture or accent piece for your room. Whatever the job demands, we are confident James Conran Design can rise to the challenge.
Owner: 
My name is James Conran. I was born and raised in England, but moved to America in the mid 1990's. After receiving Fine Arts training in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I founded a mural and decorative painting business in 1997. Through this company, I came to take on ambitious projects all across the US and had the privilege of working with some of the world’s finest interior designers. I learnt much from my experience and, when in 2006 I moved to a New York office, I expanded the scope of my work to also include interior design decisions and solutions.
As a muralist, decorative painter, and designer, my intention is to create dynamic and aesthetically pleasing works-of-art. In the past 12 years, I've been fortunate enough to have work featured in some of the finest theaters, corporate headquarters, country clubs, libraries, and restaurants around the country. My profession has also taken me into the homes of everyone from international celebrities to best selling authors to industry leaders. I enjoy my work and it's my sincere hope that I continue to find opportunities to leave my mark on exceptional spaces.
